The New World of Rehab: Addressing Burnout

This 1 hour live online course defines the common causes of burnout amongst rehab clinicians based on research. The signs of burnout are identified to address burnout. Finally, psychological research is offered to prevent the damaging effects of burnout amongst rehab clinicians.

Ari Ginsberg, PT, DPT, MSIOP, COS-C is a licensed physical therapist with a passion for teaching PTs/PTAs the value of integrating psychology into clinical practice in order to improve patient outcomes. In addition to his role as a PT and an educator, Ari is a consultant to healthcare organizations on improving bedside manner, patient satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. He is the founder and CEO of the consulting company Psychology for the Body which can be found at psychologyforthebody.com. Ari received his doctorate in physical therapy and has a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology. He looks forward to sharing his insights with you.

This course is a beginner level of didactic instruction with opportunities to self-reflect and interact with other attendees via on-line chat, to learn how to address burnout in rehab. This class is appropriate for PT, PTA, OT, OTAs and all health-care workers.
